About this experience
Humantay Lagoon is a hidden gem on the Salkantay route. After breakfast in Mollepata, the 1.5-hour hike from Soraypampa (3,900 m) takes you to the turquoise lagoon at 4,200 m, framed by the snow-capped Humantay and Salkantay.
The contrast between the glacier and the emerald water is one of the most photogenic landscapes in Peru. You return with lunch included and arrival in Cusco at sunset.

Your journey, day by day

Day 1: Cusco Soraypampa
We will pass by your respective hotel between 05.00 a.m. and then travel by transport to the town of Mollepata in the lush valley of the Apurímac River, after a well-deserved breakfast to fill us with energy we will continue our trip to Soraypampa (3900 meters above sea level) after a brief rest, we will begin our walk towards Humantay Lake, located at 4200 meters, after the ascent of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, we will be able to appreciate such a wonderful place and we will return to the town of Mollepata for our lunch time. On our return we will see beautiful panoramic views of the snow-capped peaks and later we will be transferred to our city of Cusco.
